W.C.L. Bauld General Insurance was established in Rockingham, Nova Scotia in 1947 by William C. L. Bauld. The firm then offered Property, Auto, Life Insurance and Real Estate services.
In October 1975, Klaus R. Wuerr purchased the firm and continued to operate in Rockingham until 1984 when the location was moved to 1262 Bedford Highway in Bedford. In 1996 a branch office was opened in Dartmouth at 52 Queen Street.
W.C.L. Bauld continues to operate as a family run organization based on the values of it’s founder, with a commitment to providing a premier level of service to the community.
