The Nova Scotia Gaming Foundation is a not-for-profit, arms-length government organization that offers funding to Nova Scotia community groups and researchers creating projects in their communities to help address the consequences of problem gambling.
Eligible projects are those developed to support prevention, education, treatment, remedial intervention and research across the province.
The Foundation operates through a volunteer Board of Directors and a staffed office that assists the board in assessing projects, managing, disbursing and monitoring the fund and working with applicants throughout the course of their project.
